Samsung has launched its Samsung Galaxy Prime 4G smartphone in the Indian market. The device packs nearly similar specifications as its 3G variant which was launched in September 2014. As the name implies, Galaxy Prime 4G comes with 4G LTE support.

As for specifications, the device is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. It runs Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system with Touch Wiz UI as opposed to Android 4.4 KitKat of 3G variant. The handset features a 5-inch qHD PLS TFT display with 960×540 pixels resolution. It sports an 8 mega pixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5 mega pixel front shooter. There is 8GB of inbuilt storage onboard which is expandable up to 64GB using microSD card.

Lava Iris X1 Selfie Smartphone Launched At Rs. 6,777: Specifications & Features

Lava has expanded its Iris series with the launch of Lava Iris X1 Selfie smartphone. Under the hood, the handset is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. It runs Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system and features a 4.5-inch IPS display. The device comes with 8GB of internal memory which is expandable up to 32GB using microSD card.

The device sports an 8 mega pixel auto focus rear camera and a 5 mega pixel front facing camera with LED flash which is also the highlight of this selfie smartphone. It allows users to click images by gestures (by making V); voice controlled capture (by saying Capture or Cheese). Users can tap on the screen to focus or click images.

Google Play Reduces Minimum Purchase Price For Apps To Rs. 10 In India

Google has announced reduction in minimum purchase price for apps and in-app products on Google Play store from Rs. 50 to Rs. 10. While the minimum price for purchasing apps was Rs. 50 previously, Android users can now download apps from Google Play store for a price as low as Rs. 10. With this move, the company aims to provide more flexibility to users and developers community in India.

It will attract wider audience in the country and Android users will certainly spend more money on purchasing apps and in-built purchases. Besides making apps more affordable to the users, this move will help the company generate more revenue.

Samsung Galaxy A8 Launched In India At Rs. 32,500: Specifications & Features

After announcing the Samsung Galaxy A8 in China in July 2015, the company has launched the device in the Indian market. On design front, the device looks premium with metal frame and aluminum back. With just 5.9mm thickness, it is the slimmest phone from the company till date.

As far as specifications of the device are concerned, it is powered by an octa-core (1.8GHz Quad Core + 1.3GHz Quad Core) Exynos 5430 processor paired with 2GB of RAM. Running Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system with TouchWiz UI, it features a 5.7-inch full HD Super AMOLED display with 1920×1080 pixels resolution. There is 32GB of inbuilt storage which is expandable up to 128GB using microSD card.

Kestrel KM 451 Launched At Rs. 6,190: Specifications & Features

Kestrel, an Indian ICT manufacturing company has launched its first smartphone- Kestrel KM 451. As far as specifications of the device are concerned, it is powered by a 1GHz dual-core MediaTek MT6572 processor coupled with 512MB of RAM. Running Android 4.4 KitKat operating system, it features a 4.5-inch FWVGA IPS display with 854×480 pixels resolution.

On camera front, the device sports a 5 mega pixel rear camera with LED flash and a 0.3 mega pixel front facing camera. ZTE has unveiled its latest smartphone ZTE V3 in three variants- ZTE V3 Youth Edition, V3 Energy Edition and V3 Extreme Edition in China. All the three variants feature metal aluminium body and fingerprint scanner on the rear.
