Lava Iris X5 4G Launched At Rs. 10,199: Specifications & Features

Soon after launching its first ever Android phone Lava Pixel V1 in July 2015, Lava has launched a new smartphone called the Lava Iris X5 4G in the Indian market.

As for specifications, the Iris X5 4G is powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT6735 processor clocked at 1.3GHz paired with Mali-T720 GPU and 2GB of RAM. Running Android 5.1.1 Lollipop operating system, it features a 5-inch HD display with 1280×720 pixels resolution, 294ppi pixel density and Asahi Dragontrail glass. There is 16GB of inbuilt memory which comes with expandable support up to 32GB using microSD card. The Lava Iris X5 4G sports a 13 mega pixel rear camera with dual LED flash and an 8 mega pixel front facing camera.

Asus Zenfone 2 Deluxe, Zenfone Selfie, Zenfone 2 Laser Launched: Price, Specifications & Hands On Video

Asus has launched its three new smartphones namely- Asus Zenfone 2 Deluxe, Zenfone Selfie and Zenfone 2 Laser at Zenfestival 2015 event in New Delhi, India. As the name implies, the Zenfone 2 Deluxe comes with attractive back covers; Zenfone Selfie comes with impressive front camera; and the Zenfone 2 Laser features laser auto focus for faster focus.

While the highlight of the Zenfone 2 Laser is its laser auto focus in just 0.5 seconds, it features impressive camera specs. The device sports a 13 mega pixel rear camera with BSI sensor, 5-pieces Largan lens, Blue glass filter, f/2.0 aperture, Dual color LED flash and PixelMaster 2.0. The handset also features a 5 mega pixel front facing camera.

Intel Core i7-6700K & Intel Core i5-6600K Processors For Desktops Launched At Gamescom 2015

Intel has announced the launch of Intel Core i7-6700K and Intel Core i5-6600K processors for desktops and supporting Intel Z170 chipset at the Gamescom 2015 event in Cologne, Germany. Both the processors are based on Intel’s Skylake architecture and are targeted towards gamers and overclockers.

The i7-6700K comes with base frequency of 4.0GHz and supports Intel’s Hyper-Threading scheme while the Core i5-6600K has base frequency of 3.5GHz. The i7 has L2 cache of 8MB as compared to 6MB L2 cache of i5 chipset. Both the i7-6700K and i5-6600K processors support DDR4 memory and up to 4 cores at 4.0 GHz base frequency. They come with four cores and integrated Intel HD 530 graphics.

Intex Cloud 4G Star With 5-inch Display, 13MP Camera Launched At Rs. 7,299: Specifications & Features

Expanding its Cloud series, Intex has launched a new smartphone- Intex Cloud 4G Star. Under the hood, it is powered by a 64-bit 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735 processor paired with 2GB of RAM. It runs Android Lollipop operating system and features a 5-inch HD IPS display with 1280×720 pixels resolution and Asahi Dragon Trail glass protection.

The device sports a 13 mega pixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5 mega pixel front facing camera. There is 16GB of internal storage which is expandable up to 32GB using microSD card. Backed up by a 2300mAh battery, it is claimed to deliver up to 8 hours of talktime and up to 210 hours of standby time.

Meizu M2 Note With 5.5-inch Display, 4G LTE Launched In India At Rs. 9,999: Specs & Features

Chinese smartphone maker Meizu has launched the successor of M1 Note, the Meizu M2 Note smartphone in India. Under the hood, the handset is powered by a 64-bit 1.3GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6753 processor paired with Mali-T720 MP2 GPU and 2GB of RAM. Running Android 5.1 Lollipop with Flyme, it features a 5.5-inch IPS display with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution.

On imaging front, Meizu M2 Note sports a 13 mega pixel rear camera with LED flash,  f/2.2 aperture and 5P lens. There is also a 5 mega pixel front facing camera with f/2.0 aperture, 4P lens and 69-degree wide viewing angle.

Brother International launched its new ink refill tank printer series in the Indian market back in May 2015. The series comprises of three 3-in-1 inkjet Multi-Function Centres namely, DCP-T300, DCP-T500W and DCP-T700W. We got the Brother DCP-T500W for review, and after using it for a few days, here’s our hands on review!

The DCP-T500W printer is very easy to plug and print. With the aim to assure low cost of printing per page, it focuses on those users who want high print volume. It performs three functions- Print, Scan and Copy. The device seamlessly works with low cost ink bottles and has a yield of nearly 6000 pages in black ink.

LG Wine Smart Flip Phone With Android 5.1.1 Lollipop, 4G LTE Support Launched: Specifications & Features

LG has unveiled its new flip phone, dubbed the LG Wine Smart. The device is essentially the international variant of the LG Gentle phone which was launched in July 2015 in Korea. According to LG, the Wine Smart flip phone is targeted towards those users who are “more accustomed to the feel of flip.”

Under the hood, the device is powered by a 1.1GHz quad-core processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. The phone runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop operating system and features a  3.2-inch HVGA display with 480×320 pixels resolution. There is 4GB of inbuilt storage which is expandable via microSD card. It sports a 3 mega pixel rear camera and a 0.3 mega pixel front facing camera.
