Lava has launched its latest smartphone Lava Pixel V2 in India. The Pixel V2 is essentially a refreshed variant of Lava Pixel P1 which was launched earlier this year in July 2015. While the Pixel V1 was launched as Android One smartphone, the Pixel V2 is not an Android One phone.

As for specifications, the Pixel V2 is powered by a 64-bit 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735 processor paired with Mali-T720 GPU and 2GB of RAM. It runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop based Star OS 2.0 and features a 5-inch HD IPS display with 1280×720 pixels resolution.

Samsung has finally launched its flagship phablet, Samsung Galaxy Note 5 in India. It was unveiled at the Unpacked event in New York last month alongside Galaxy S6 Edge+ which was launched in India for Rs. 57,900. The Galaxy Note 5 succeeds the Galaxy Note 4 and comes with several upgrades over its predecessor.

Under the hood, is powered by a 64-bit octa-core Exynos 7422 processor paired with 4GB of RAM. It runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop operating system with TouchWiz and features a 5.7-inch QHD Super AMOLED display with 2560×1440 pixels resolution and Gorilla Glass 4 protection. Based on storage, it comes in two variants- 32GB and 64GB.

Micromax’s Yu Televentures has launched YuPix compact smartphone photo printer in the Indian market. With this printer, users can print pictures directly from their smartphones. The Yu YuPix essentially makes it easier for users to print images and avoids their dependency on PC’s to produce hard copies of images. Users can get superior quality prints within 60 seconds using the YuPix compact printer.

As for hardware specifications, it is fueled by a 750mAh battery. Huawei has taken the wraps off its latest smartphone- Huawei G8 at the IFA 2015 event in Berlin. It is powered by a 64-bit octa-core (Cortex A53 – 4×1.5GHz + 4×1.2GHz) Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor paired with Adreno 405 GPU and 3GB of RAM. Lenovo has unveiled a new smartphone, dubbed the Lenovo Vibe S1 at IFA 2015 event in Berlin. Flaunting its dual front facing cameras, the Vibe S1 is aimed at the selfie lovers. One of the two front cameras has resolution of 8 mega pixel while the other one is a 2 mega pixel depth sensor.
