Samsung has launched yet another smartphone in the Galaxy series, called the Samsung Galaxy Core Prime VE. It is essentially the value edition of the Galaxy Core Prime smartphone which was launched last year in 2014. The Galaxy Core Prime VE is equipped with same set of specifications as the original Galaxy Core Prime except that the former comes with expandable storage support for 128GB via microSD card as opposed to 64GB expandable support of the latter. The clocking speed of the quad-core processor has also increased to 1.3GHz from 1.2GHz.
It features a 4.5-inch WVGA PLS display with 800×480 pixels resolution and runs Android 4.4 KitKat operating system.
