YU Televentures is gearing up for the launch of its new flagship smartphone in India, this month. YU has shared a teaser video on Twitter that shows company’s founder Rahul Sharma breaking a model of a ship though a hammer. The video has the tagline- “Redefining Flagship. This month…”

The video doesn’t reveal any details about specifications and features of YU’s upcoming flagship smartphone. However, it hints that the phone will feature powerful specs to break other flagship smartphone in the market.

Micromax has launched its latest laptop, called the Micromax Canvas Lapbook L1160. The company has partnered with Microsoft and Intel to drive ‘Digital India’ initiative to the next level. The Canvas Lapbook L1160 is suitable for youth, students and first time buyers and aims to accelerate the PC adoption in the country.

Under the hood, it is powered by a quad-core Intel Atom (up to 1.83GHz) processor coupled with 2GB of RAM. The device runs Windows 10 operating system.

Samsung Galaxy Note 6 Could Feature USB Type-C Port

With smartphone manufactures like Xiaomi and LG launching their flagship smartphones with USB Type-C port, Samsung doesn’t want to lag behind. Although Samsung launched its Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge smartphones with micro-USB port, it is likely to equip its upcoming phablet- Samsung Galaxy Note 6 with USB Type-C port. As per SamMobile, the Galaxy Note 6 will feature USB Type-C port, however, it is not know whether it would be an older version or the latest USB 3.1.

Micromax Canvas 6 & Canvas 6 Pro: All You Need To Know

At its ‘Guts to Change’ event, Micromax launched its flagship smartphones- Micromax Canvas 6 and Canvas Pro, in India. The Canvas 6 is company’s first smartphone to feature an all metal unibody design with fingerprint sensor. The Canvas 6 Pro, on the other hand comes with metal body design and lacks fingerprint scanner.

The specifications of both smartphones are nearly similar except difference in RAM, storage and front camera. The Canvas 6 comes with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory while Canvas 6 Pro comes with 4GB of RAM and 16GB of inbuilt storage. The Canvas 6 and Canvas 6 Pro sport 8 mega pixel and 5 mega pixel front facing cameras respectively.

LeEco Le 1s Eco Launched In India: Price, Specifications & Hands On Video

LeEco has launched its first ‘Made For India’ smartphone, called the LeEco Le 1s Eco, in the Indian market. The handset shares same set of specifications as the Le 1s smartphone.

Highlight of this phone is that it comes with LeEco Membership, which is said to offer “content, service, and experience” in a single package. It includes over 2000 movies, around 100 premium live channels and over 3.5 million songs. The company will also roll out support for 10 more languages for the smartphone, through OTA update soon. The languages include Kannada, Tamil, Marathi, Assamese, Bengali, Malayalam, Telugu, Gujarati, Punjabi and Oriya.

iBall has launched a new smartphone in its Andi series, called the iBall Andi 5N Dude. The phone is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor paired with Mali-400 GPU and 512MB of RAM. Running Android 4.4 KitKat operating system, it features a 5-inch FWVGA IPS display with 854×480 pixels resolution and 196ppi pixel density.

On camera front, the handset sports a 5 mega pixel auto focus rear camera with LED flash and a 0.3 mega pixel front facing camera. Backed up by a 2000mAh battery, it offers 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and A-GPS as connectivity options. It comes with G-sensor and Proximity sensor.

Intex has expanded its Aqua series of smartphones with the launch of Intex Aqua Lions 3G. The phone is targeted at IPL cricket lovers and is named after the IPL team owned by Intex- Gujarat Lions.

Under the hood, it is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor paired with 1GB of RAM. Running Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system, it features a 5-inch HD display with 1280×720 pixels resolution.
