Taiwanese multinational tech company Asus launched the Asus ZenFone Max Pro M1 on 23rd April 2018. The smartphone has been set at starting price of Rs. 10,999. During the launch, it was revealed that the smartphone will be sold via Flipkart from 3rd May 2018– in partnership with ASUS.
The smartphone is not like other Asus devices. It is the first Asus phone to ship with pure Android software. It comes with with a bezel-less design. The smartphone is affordable and has a dual-camera setup. Its introduction is going to be a huge blow for Xiaomi, as they fall under a similar budget, becoming one more option for potential buyers.
Asus ZenFone Max Pro M1: Specifications And Features
The Asus ZenFone Max M1 is built with a 5.99-inch FHD+ display. It has an aspect ratio of 18:9. The company claims that it has a contrast of 1,500:1 with a brightness of 450 nits. The smartphone is powered by Snapdragon 636 SoC. It includes an Adreno 509 GPU. The device will run Android 8.1 Oreo.
The smartphone is available in three variants– 3GB RAM + 32GB storage for Rs. 10,999, 4GB RAM + 64Gb storage for Rs.12,999 and 6 GB RAM + 64 GB storage for Rs. 14,999.
In the optics department, the smartphone has a dual-camera setup. The setup includes a 13-megapixel sensor and a 5-megapixel sensor. The front camera is an 8-megapixel sensor. In the battery category, it is powered by a humongous 5,000 mAh battery pack. It supports fast charging. In the connectivity department, the smartphone has dual-SIM slots. At least one slot supports 4G VoLTE. There is a microSD card slot too.
The Asus ZenFone Max Pro M1 has been launched in two colors– Deep sea black and Meteor silver. An accessory called MaxBox will also be provided with the phone. The smartphone also will boost speaker volume two-fold.

Asus ZenFone Max Pro M1: Availability
Flipkart and Asus have recently tied up to create products suiting Indian needs. They have signed an MOU that will make Flipkart the exclusive distributor of Asus products (smartphones) for the next two years. The smartphone is one of the first devices to be announced under this partnership. It will be exclusively available only through Flipkart.
The company will also launch a 6 GB RAM and 64 GB storage version ZenFone Max Pro M1 soon. It will be priced at Rs. 14,999. The smartphone will have upgraded cameras. On the front, it will be a 16-megapixel sensor. On the back, it will be a 16-megapixel and 5-megapixel sensors.

The company has also tied up with Vodafone to provide offers up to Rs. 3,200 including additional data with the device.
The e-commerce website is also providing a complete mobile protection alongside the Asus ZenFone Max Pro M1 at an introductory price of Rs. 49. It will facilitate users to enjoy a 10-day guaranteed fix for hardware and software damage.
