Asus India has announced a price cut for its ZenFone Live (ZB501KL) smartphone. The budget smartphone will now be available at Rs 1000 discount. The Asus ZenFone Live (ZB501KL) was launched in May this year at Rs 9,999 which was later slashed down to Rs 8,999. Now the Asus smartphone is available at Rs 7,999.

The new smartphone sports a 5.0-inch IPS display with HD (720 x 1280 pixels) resolution and 2.5D curved glass. It comes with a Bluelight filter for eye protection. The new handset is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor and 2GB RAM. The 16GB internal storage can be expanded via a hybrid microSD card slot (up to 128GB).
On the camera front, the Asus ZenFone Live sports a 13-megapixel Pixel Master rear camera with a f/2.0 aperture and dual-LED flash. The 5-megapixel front camera comes with a 1.4-micron pixel sensor, f/2.2 aperture, 82-degree wide angle lens, and a soft-light LED flash. It is backed by a 2650mAh battery that offers up to 158.8 hours of standby time, up to 24 hours of 3G talk-time and 17.1 hours of Wi-Fi browsing.
