Taiwanese tech company Asus will soon launch their most premium handset of the ZenFone 5 flagship series. Flipkart has revealed the Asus ZenFone 5Z launch date. Now even the handset’s price has been leaked.
Asus ZenFone 5Z Price Leaked
According to Flipkart, the handset’s 6GB RAM+64GB storage has been set at Rs. 29,999. The 8GB RAM+128GB storage model is Rs. 32,999.
Meanwhile, the 8GB RAM+256GB storage variant will be sold at Rs. 36,999.
Asus ZenFone 5Z Launch
It has been revealed by Flipkart that the Asus ZenFone 5Z launch will take place in India on 4th July 2018.
Earlier Flipkart had revealed that the handset will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 845 SoC, paired with an AI engine.
The handset will be a Flipkart exclusive product in India. Pricing and availability details are currently not revealed. Asus ZenFone 5Z launch had taken place at MWC 2018 in February 2018. Its price was set at EUR 479 (around Rs. 38,200) for the 4GB RAM/64GB storage model.
In Taiwan, a 6GB RAM+64GB storage variant is there at TWD 14,990 (approximately Rs. 33,700). The 6GB RAM+128GB storage variant is sold for TWD 16,990 (around Rs. 38,200).

The handset is a dual-Nano SIM device. It runs ZenUI 5.0 on top of Android 8.0 Oreo. The device is built with a 6.2-inch full-HD+ (1080×2246 pixels) LCD display with a 19:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 845 SoC, paired with Adreno 630 GPU up to 8GB RAM. There is also 256GB storage.
The smartphone is also powered by a 3300mAh battery. It supports AI charging tech.
In the camera department, the handset is built with a dual-rear camera module. It features a primary 12-megapixel sensor with f/1.8 aperture. There is a secondary 8-megapixel sensor with f/2.2 aperture paired with Softlight LED flash. Up front, there is an 8-megapixel selfie shooter with f/2.0 aperture. The selfie camera has an 84-degree Field of View, and Face Unlock.
The connectivity department consists of 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, FM radio, a USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
