The new Asus ROG Strix G15 Advantage Edition comes with a starting price of Rs 1,54,990. It will be available from August 11 via Asus Exclusive Store (AES), ROG Store, Flipkart, Reliance, Croma, and Vijay Sales.
Originally, the gaming laptop was introduced with an AROG Strix G17 Advantage Edition at Computex 2021 (in June this year).
While the Asus ROG Strix G15 Advantage Edition comes with AMD Ryzen 9 5900HX CPU and a 15.6-inch display, the AROG Strix G17 Advantage Edition has Radeon RX 6800M GPU and a 17.3-inch display.
The new Asus models are touted to be the first two gaming laptops to offer AMD’s highest-end mobile CPU and highest-end mobile GPU in one build. Let’s take a closer look:

The new laptop is powered by AMD Ryzen 9 59000 HX octa-core processor along with up to 16GB GDDR4 RAM and up to 1TB PCIE SSD storage.
For graphics, the Asus ROG Strix G15 Advantage Edition comes with an integrated Radeon RX 6800M GPU (based on new RDNA 2 architecture).

Asus has also added AMD SmartShift technology that automatically adjusts load on CPU and GPU. It is said to boost performance by up to 15 percent.
The gaming laptop is backed by a 90Whr battery that is touted to offer up to 11.4 hours of video playback. Additionally, the fast charging support offers up to 50 percent charge in 30 minutes.

The gaming laptop runs on Windows 10 Home OS. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.1, HDMI 2.0, three USB Type-A slots, one USB Type-C port, one RJ45 LAN port, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
The Asus ROG Strix G15 Advantage Edition weighs 2.5kg. The keyboard supports 4-zone RGB lighting. It has five dedicated hotkeys for gaming, bigger isolated arrows, and well-spaced function keys.

The 15.6-inch IPS display comes with WQHD (2,560 x 1,440 pixels) resolution, a 16:9 aspect ratio, a 165Hz refresh rate, a 3 millisecond response time, a 100 percent DCI-P3 color gamut, and support for AMD FreeSync Premium technology.
Additionally, the gaming laptops feature two 4W speakers each with Smart Amp Technology, AI mic noise-canceling, inbuilt array microphone, and Dolby Atmos support.
