Asus has introduced a new smartphone- Asus Pegasus 2 Plus X550 as the successor of Pegasus X002 in China. The device is powered by a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor paired with 3GB of RAM. The phone runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop wrapped under Zen UI and features a 5.5-inch full HD display with 1920×1080 pixels resolution.
Backed up by a 3030mAh battery, the Pegasus 2 Plus sports a 13 mega pixel rear camera with LED flash and an 8 mega pixel front facing camera. It will be available in White and Rose Gold color options. Connectivity options which the device will offer are still a mystery. We expect more details about the handset to surface in the coming days.
The predecessor, Pegasus X002 on the other hand, comes with a 64-bit quad-core 1.5GHz MediaTek MT6732 processor paired with 2GB of RAM and 5-inch HD (1280×720 pixels) display. It was launched last year in China for CNY 799 (roughly Rs. 8,000).

There is no word on pricing and availability of the Asus Pegasus 2 Plus as of now. We expect Asus to make an announcement about the same in the coming days.
Asus is also said to be working on a new smartphone called the Zenfone Go. Rumored specifications of the device include quad-core MediaTek MT6582 processor, Mali-400 MP2 GPU, 2GB of RAM, 5-inch HD (1280×720 pixels resolution) display, 8GB inbuilt memory, 8 mega pixel rear camera and 2 mega pixel front facing camera. The handset is likely to come with 3G support.
