Asus has launched a new non-ZenFone series smartphone in Brazil, called the Asus Live. As for specifications, it is powered by a 1.3GHz MediaTek MT6580 processor coupled with Mali 400 MP2 GPU and 2GB of RAM. Running Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system wrapped under Zen UI 2.0, it features a 5-inch HD display with 1280×720 pixels resolution.
The phone houses 16GB of internal memory which can be expanded up to 64GB via microSD card. It sports an 8 mega pixel rear camera with LED flash and a 2 mega pixel front facing camera.
Backed up by a 2070mAh battery, it offers 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS as connectivity options. The device measures 144.5x71x5.2mm, weighs 140 grams and will be available in Blue, Pink and Yellow color options. The phone comes with 100GB of free Google Drive storage for 2 years and 5GB of free Asus WebStorage.

Price & Availability
The Asus Live is priced at around $210 (approximately Rs. 14,000) in Brazil. There is no word on global roll out of the phone as of now.
Asus is also set to launch its ZenFone Zoom smartphone in India on January 22. The talking point of this phone is its camera department. The device comes with a 13 mega pixel primary camera with f/2.7 to 4.8 aperture, laser auto focus, 10-element lenses with 3X optical zoom, optical image stabilization (OIS) and dual-color Real Tone flash.
