Asus Launches Transformer Book Trio ‘Three-in-One’ Ultraportable In India

Asus on December 11, 2013 announced the Transformer Book Trio ” Three-in-one” ultraportable. With the combination of Windows 8 and Android, Transformer Trio enables to provide user an amazing experience that too to three people at the same time. The Transformer Book Trio features a two-part dockable design that can be used as one person as a laptop and two persons as a separate tablet and desktop PC.

Asus Transformer Book Trio features an i7-4500U 4th generation processor along with Intel Atom Z2560 chipset to run Windows and Android simultaneously. It comes with a 500GB 5400rpm hard drive along with 4GB DDR3 RAM and 2GB DDR2 RAM for the pad. It sports a 11.6inches Full HD touch panel with a 5MP camera. With the display dock, the Transformer Book Trio can easily transform by detaching from the PC station keyboard dock to Android tablet. With the display attached the operating systems can switch easily by pressing the ‘trio’ button giving Android and Windows experience at the same time. Separate battery packs in each part also maximizes it’s utility. It can run Android for about 19hours and Windows for about 5 hours on one full charge.

Pricing and Availability

The Asus Transformer Book Trio will be available in India at an MRP of Rs. 98,099 across selected Asus authorized retail outlets starting December 2013.

Transformer Book Trio is first of kind which has arrived in India this soon. It is on an expensive side which might make it difficult for most of the Indian public to reach but there is a lot of innovation done here which makes sense to this pricing.
