Asus Fonepad 8 Launched In India: Price, Specs, Features & Details

Asus has launched its latest device Asus Fonepad 8 in India. Under the hood, this dual-SIM tablet with 3G support is powered by 1.33 GHz Quad-Core Intel Atom Z3530 processor coupled with 2 GB of RAM. It runs on Android 4.4 KitKat operating system with Asus Zen UI and features an 8 inch IPS display with 1280 x 800 pixels resolution. On storage front, it comes with 16 GB of in-bulit storage which is further expandable up to 64 GB via microSD card. Asus Fonepad 8 sports 5 mega pixel auto focus rear camera and a 2 mega pixel front facing camera for video calling and capturing selfies. Connectivity options on this device include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, 3G and Micro USB. It measures 120 x 214 x 8.9 mm, weighs 310 grams and it will be available in Black and Gold color options. Additionally, this device comes equipped with What’s Next and Do It Later features. The What’s Next features sends the crucial information like phone calls, messages, upcoming events etc. on the display of the smartphone while Do It later further prioritizes the remaining tasks. The Party Link feature embedded on this device allows the users to easily share the images and files with up to 3 devices at the same time.
