Asus EeeBook X205 Launched In India: Price, Specs, Features & Hands On Video

The most awaited Asus budget notebook, Asus EeeBook X205 has been launched in India today, with a price tag of Rs. 14,999. It will be available via Flipkart starting from today, 21st January 2015 and through Asus exclusive stores from February 2015. To remind you of the specifications, EeeBook X205 is powered by 1.33 GHz Quad-Core Intel Atom Z3735 processor with Integrated Intel HD graphics, coupled with 2 GB of RAM and runs on Windows 8.1 operating system with Bing. It features 11.6 inch HD display with 1366 x 768 pixels resolution. This notebook further sports VGA web camera and entails 32 GB of in-built storage. Asus EeeBook comes packed with a powerful battery which is claimed to deliver up to 12 hours of internet surfing time on single charge. The Asus EeeBook is compact, light weight and highly portable with 286 x 193.3 x 17.5 mm dimensions and 0.98 Kg weight. It also sports two front facing speakers for amazing audio experience.

Asus has announced the launch of its Asus EeeBook X205 in India by the end of January 2015. EeeBook X205 was launched in international markets last year in 2014, now it is soon going to mark its presence in India as well. Specifications of Indian version of EeeBook X205 have not been revealed as of now, we expect it to arrive with similar features as those of the international version.

Asus has also launched Asus Transformer Book Chi series at CES 2015. This series includes Windows based 2-in-1 laptops namely, the flagship T300 Chi, T100 Chi and the T90 Chi. Prices of these convertibles have been announced while the company is yet to announce the availability details of the Transformer Book Chi series devices.

Price and Availability

Exact launch date and pricing details have not been revealed by the company yet. We expect Asus EeeBook X205 to arrive India by the end of January with a price tag of around Rs.15000 to Rs. 20,000 since it is available in international markets with a price tag of $220.
