The new Chromebook is designed for online gamers. It comes with support for both Google Stadia and Nvidia GeForce Now.
The Taiwanese manufacturer has also added a proprietary Wi-Fi Stabilizer. It comes with AMD Ryzen 5 and Ryzen 3 processors.
The Asus Chromebook Flip CM5 sports a 2-in-1 form factor (with a 360-degree hinge) that allows you to fold the keyboard flat.
Additionally, the display supports both touch and stylus input. There is also orange backlighting around the WASD keys. Let’s take a closer look:

The Asus Chromebook Flip CM5 is powered by a AMD Ryzen 3 3250C/ AMD Ryzen 5 3500C processors along with AMD Radeon graphics and up to 16GB DDR4 RAM.
The new notebook is backed by a 57Wh battery that is said to last up to 10 hours on a single charge. You can choose from the default 64GB eMMC storage or an M.2 NVMe PCIe SSD (128GB/ 256GB) storage.

The Asus Chromebook Flip CM5 comes with Google Play access (for downloading Android apps and games). It comes preloaded with a Chrome browser.
For real-time gaming directly from the cloud, the new laptop comes with support for Google Stadia and GeForce Now.
The new laptop is equipped with an HD (720p) webcam and dual stereo speakers (with Harman/ Kardon audio).
Connectivity options include Bluetooth v5.0, Wi-Fi 6, a USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A, and an HDMI 1.4 port. There are also two USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C ports with support for DisplayPort and Power Delivery.

Design and Display
The Asus Chromebook Flip CM5 measures 357.6 x 240.8 x 18.5mm and weighs 1.95 kilograms. It sports an aluminum-alloy metal lid chassis with an “obsidian velvet” texture.
The new notebook also comes with Asus’ proprietary 360-degree ErgoLift hinge that allows users to rotate the display.
The backlit chiclet keyboard comes with 1.4mm of key travel. You can lift and tilt the keyboard for an ergonomic typing experience.
The 15.6-inch display comes with full-HD (1,920 x 1,080 pixels) resolution, 81 percent screen-to-body ratio, 178-degree viewing angles, and a 60Hz refresh rate.
Asus claims that the screen features a NanoEdge design. It also features Universal Stylus Initiative (USI) 1.0 standard support to work with a range of stylus pens.

The Asus Chromebook Flip CM5 comes with a starting price of $499.99 (approx Rs 36,600) for the base variant (AMD Ryzen 3 CPU/ 4GB RAM/ 64GB internal storage).
The new notebook comes in a single Mineral Gray color option. As of now, there is no information about the Indian price and launch date.
