The new laptop is powered by a MediaTek Kompanio 520 processor along with an ARM Mali G52 MP2 GPU, 8GB LPDDR4x RAM, and 128GB eMMC storage.
The Asus Chromebook CM14 is backed by a 42Wh 2-cell battery that supports 45W fast charging. It sports a 720p webcam with a privacy shutter and an inbuilt Face AE feature.

In terms of design, the new laptop features a sleek, metallic chassis with a 180-degree ‘lay-flat’ hinged display. It comes with military-grade protection.
The 14-inch anti-glare non-touch LCD display comes with full-HD (1,920 x 1,080 pixels) resolution, a 60Hz refresh rate, 220 nits brightness, and a 16:9 aspect ratio.
The Asus Chromebook CM14 comes in a Gravity Grey color finish. In terms of dimensions, it measures 324.6 x 226.7 x 18.3mm and weighs 1.45kg.
Additional features on the device include a face unlock feature, a Kensington nano security slot, a Titan C security chip, a microSD card reader, and an ergonomic spill-resistant keyboard (up to 405cc).
