The new laptop is powered by an M2 chipset (a new version of the M1 Apple Silicon chip). It comes with 20 billion transistors and a 10-core GPU.
Apple claims that the new chipset is 1.9 times faster (CPU) and 2.3 times faster (GPU) than competing 10-core processors. It comes with the new Secure Enclave, media engine, and neural engine.
The 13-inch Apple MacBook Pro (2022) is touted to last up to 20-hours on a single charge. It comes with an active cooling system to offer sustained performance at high clock speeds.
Additionally, the Apple MacBook Pro (2022) comes with up to 2TB SSD storage. Users can also get optional up to 24GB of unified memory.
