Apple claims that the new chipset is up to 70 percent faster than the A10. The new processor is supported by a new Apple-designed GPU that is up to 30 percent faster than previous iterations of iPhone.
While Apple did not reveal all the specifications, as per new reports, TENAA (China’s telecommunication authority) has confirmed that the iPhone X comes with 3GB RAM and a 2,716mAh battery. While the 3GB RAM is not a game changer, Apple claims that the new battery can last 2 hours more than the iPhone 7. The new handset also supports Qi wireless charging. Additionally, the new AirPower charger allows you to charge iPhone X, Apple Watch and the AirPods.
Camera
The Apple iPhone X features a dual camera setup with quad-LED True Tone flash on the back. It uses two 12-megapixel cameras with f/1.8 and f/2.4 apertures. Both sensors come with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS). Camera features include Portrait Mode (allows you to take images with depth of field effects) and Portrait Lighting (allows you to select the lighting effect from different options).

Apple claims that Face ID will work even if you put on glasses, grow a beard or get a different hairstyle. However, it will not be fooled by photographs or the like. The Face data is protected in a secure enclave on the A11 chip. The new feature even works in the dark, thanks to a Flood Illuminator.
The Face ID features can be used to authenticate Apple Pay payments and open other third-party apps. Apple has also released customisable animated emojis called Animojis. These can be controlled with your face (up to 50 facial movements). The company has removed the traditional Touch ID fingerprint sensor. The new iPhone X also comes with a new ‘Tap to wake’ feature.
