Apple is reportedly working on a new smartphone, dubbed the iPhone 6C. As per some Foxconn insiders (via GforGames), it is expected to be launched in January 2016 and to go on sale in February. The time of launch of iPhone 6C however doesn’t seem to follow Apple’s time convention of launching its products.
On design front, the 6C is said to feature metal build unlike plastic body like its predecessor iPhone 5C. The upcoming device however will still be launched in different color options. Read on to find more details on rumored specifications and features of Apple’s upcoming C series smartphone.
As far as specifications of the iPhone 6C are concerned, it is said to be powered by an A9 processor. The 6C is also said to come with a Touch ID fingerprint sensor which its predecessor 5C lacked. The upcoming 6C is also said to come with improved FaceTime HD camera with f/2.2 aperture. On connectivity front, it is said to come with Wi-Fi 802.11ac and Bluetooth 4.1 as connectivity options. The handset would not feature 3D touch display as seen in iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus. This information should be taken with a pinch of salt since Apple has not revealed any of the details mentioned above officially.
