The Apple iPhone 13 series is tipped include four models – iPhone 13 mini, iPhone 13, iPhone 13 Pro, and iPhone 13 Pro Max. It is expected to launch the in September next year,
As of now, there is no confirmation about the price tag.
The Apple iPhone 12 is priced at Rs 79,900 for the 64GB storage variant. The 128GB and 256GB storage models costs Rs 84,900 and Rs 94,900, respectively.
The iPhone 12 Pro comes with a starting price of Rs 1,19,900 for the 128GB storage variant. The 256GB and 512GB storage models cost Rs 1,29,900 and Rs 1,49,900, respectively.
On the other hand, the price of the iPhone 12 Pro Max starts at Rs 1,29,900 for the 128GB storage variant. The 256GB and 512GB storage models cost Rs 1,39,900 and Rs 1,59,900, respectively.
The Apple iPhone 12 mini is priced in India at Rs 69,900 for the 64GB storage variant. While the 128GB storage model costs Rs 74,900, the 256GB storage variant comes at Rs 84,900.

As per recent leaks and reports, the Apple iPhone 13 will feature a periscope-style telephoto lens for enhanced zoom. It will be manufactured by South Korea’s Semco.
Periscope lenses are compact enough to fit into a normal lens. They can offer high zoom capabilities such as 30x, 50x, 100x.
Additionally, the iPhone 13 series is tipped to come with support for Wi-Fi 6E standard. It offers all the features of Wi-Fi 6 along with an extra 6GHz band.
The rear panel is said to come with a slightly more texturized back than the current iPhone flagships (assumed to be a soft matte finish).
For astrophotography, a completely automatic mode will use software algorithms and improved camera optics to register artifacts like stars or the Moon.
Display
The iPhone 13 Pro models are tipped to feature low-temperature polycrystalline oxide (LTPO) OLED always-on displays with up to 120Hz refresh rate.
The LTPO will enable Apple to drop the refresh rate really low along with the brightness and allow an always-on display mode. The iPhone 13 models are said to use on-cell touchscreens.
The 2021 iPhone models are also said to feature an improved MagSafe technology (with stronger magnets than last year’s iPhone 12 models).
The on-cell technology is said to offer better touch response since the multitouch functionality would be on a thin-film transistor (TFT), rather than a separate component above the display. It will also allow the display to be slimmer.
The Apple iPhone 13 Mini is expected to feature a 5.4-inch 60Hz LTPS OLED display,. Whereas the iPhone 13 is said to sport a 6.1-inch 60Hz LTPS OLED display.
On the other hand, the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max are said to feature 6.1-inch 120Hz LTPO OLED and 6.7-inch 120Hz LTPO OLED displays, respectively.

The Apple iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro are touted to offer up to 17 hours of video playback. Whereas the iPhone 12 mini delivers up to 15 hours of video playback.
On the other hand, the iPhone 12 Pro Max is claimed to last up to 20 hours of video playback (projected to deliver the “longest battery life in an iPhone”).
All models support MagSafe wireless charging at up to 15W, and Qi wireless charging at up to 7.5W. The iPhone 12 series comes with a USB-C to Lightning cable.
Both the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 mini-feature 12-megapixel dual rear cameras with a wide-angle lens (f/1.6 aperture) and an ultra-wide-angle lens (f/2.4 aperture).
On the other hand, the iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max sport 12-megapixel triple rear cameras with a wide-angle lens (f/1.6), ultra-wide-angle lens (f/2.4), and a telephoto lens (f/2.0 on Pro and f/2.2 on Pro Max).
The company has added a LiDAR (a portmanteau of light and radar) scanner for better autofocus in low light situations. It also offers improved depth photography and augmented reality (AR) measurements.
For selfies and video calling, all four iPhone models feature 12-megapixel front cameras with f/2.2 aperture.
