Apple has launched its Apple iPad Mini 4 alongside iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus, iPad Pro and new Apple TV. While the design language of the iPad Mini 4 remains similar to its predecessor, there are several changes in its hardware specifications.
It is powered by a 64-bit Apple A8 processor paired with M8 motion coprocessor. The device features a 7.9-inch LED-backlit display with 2048×1536 pixels resolution. Based on storage, it will be available in three variants- 16GB, 64GB and 128GB. The tablet sports an 8 mega pixel rear camera and a 1.2 mega pixel front facing camera. On software front, it runs iOS 9 which will be made available to existing devices on September 16.
The iPad Mini 4 will be available in two options- Wi-Fi only variant and Wi-Fi+Cellular model. It is backed up by a 6470mAh battery. The device also comes with improved Touch ID fingerprint sensor and Apple Pay.
The iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus have also been launched. Both smartphones come with some new features and improvements over their predecessors such as force touch display, retina flash and second generation Touch ID. There is no word on Indian pricing and availability details of the phones.

Price & Availability
The Apple iPad Mini 4 Wi-Fi only variant with 16GB storage is priced at $399, 64GB at $499 and 128GB variant at $599. The Wi-Fi+Cellular 16GB variant will cost $529, and the 64GB and 128GB variants will be available for $629 and $729 respectively. It will be available in three color options- Space Grey, Gold and Silver. There is no word on Indian pricing and availability of the device as of now.
