The Apple iPad Air (4th Gen) is priced at Rs 54,900 for the W-Fi 64GB variant. The 256GB W-Fi model bears a price tag of Rs 68,900.
On the other hand, the cellular 64GB model costs Rs 66,900. The 256GB cellular variant is priced at Rs 80,900 for 256GB.
The new iPad Air comes in five color options – Silver, Space Grey, Rose Gold, Green, and Sky Blue. Sales will start in October.
Additionally, the Cupertino giant has launched a new version of its entry-level iPad. It comes in Silver, Space Grey, and Rose Gold color options.
The WiFi model is priced at Rs 29,900 and Rs 37,900 for the 32GB and 128GB variants, respectively. Whereas the cellular versions cost Rs 41,900 and Rs 49,900 for the 32GB and 128GB models.

The new Apple iPad Air (4th Gen) is powered by an Apple A14 Bionic processor and runs iPadOS 14. It is said to offer better performance while editing 4K videos, playing immersive games, etc.
Apple is also offering 70 percent faster machine learning operations, thanks to the next-generation 16-core neural engine and new CPU-bound machine learning acceleration.
The 10.9-inch liquid retina display comes with a resolution of 2360 x 1640 pixels, P3 wide color gamut, an anti-reflective coating, and Apple’s True Tone color adjustment feature.

For photos and videos, it features a 12MP rear camera (with focus pixels, stabilized 4K video recording) and a 7MP front camera (with 1080p video recording).
The new iPad Air supports the 2nd Gen Apple Pencil (it can be charged and stored in a magnetic connector). It also works with Apple’s Magic Keyboard.
Additional features include a USB Type-C port (up to 5Gbps data transfers), stereo speakers, a Touch ID fingerprint sensor (integrated in the power/ standby button), a 20W Type-C charger, Wi-Fi 6, and LTE with a Nano-SIM or eSIM (on cellular models).
Apple claims that the new iPad Air uses real-time tracking and interpretation of hand movements (via the front camera). The machine learning allows photo enhancement and upscaling low-resolution images.

Apple iPad (8th Gen)
The new model is powered by an A12 Bionic processor with Apple’s Neural Engine for machine learning. It also promises 2X faster graphics.
The Apple iPad (8th Gen) features a 10.2-inch Retina display with a physical Home button. It supports the 1st Gen Apple Pencil for sketching and taking notes.
For photos and videos, the new model sports an 8MP rear camera and a 1.2MP front camera. It retains the Lightning connector and runs iPadOS 14.
