The Amazon Fire HD 10 (2019) is priced in the US at $149.99 (approx Rs 10,650). The Kids Edition is priced at $199.99 (approx Rs 14,200). It comes with a 2-year worry-free guarantee.
The Amazon Kindle Kids Edition is priced in the US at $109.99 (approx Rs 7,800). All three devices will be available for pre-order. Shipping will start on October 30.
As of now, there is no word on the Indian price and launch date of the new Amazon devices.

Specifications and Features
Amazon claims that the new Fire HD 10 tablet comes with a faster processor, longer battery life, and faster charging.
“The all-new Fire HD 10 has everything you need for entertainment with plenty of storage for your favorite videos, games, music, and books at home or on the go – and still under $150,” said Kevin Keith, Vice President, Amazon Devices.
Additionally, the Kindle Kids Edition is aimed to make reading fun for kids. It comes with features like Word Wise and Vocabulary Builder. It also offers achievement badges for motivation.
“With unlimited access to over a thousand new and popular books in FreeTime Unlimited, kids can easily find books to match their interests and can bring a library of books with them wherever they go – all on a single, lightweight device,” said Kurt Beidler, Director of Kids and Family, Amazon.

The new tablet is powered by a 2.0GHz octa-core processor. The 32GB internal storage can be further expanded via a microSD card (up to 512GB).
The Amazon Fire HD 10 tablet features a 10.1-inch widescreen display with full-HD (1080p) resolution. It comes in Plum, Twilight Blue, Black, and White color options.
The Fire HD 10 offers up to 12 hours of mixed-use battery life. It comes with USB-Type-C port, picture-in-picture support, and built-in Alexa support.
Amazon-exclusive features on the device include ASAP, For You, X-Ray, Second Screen, Family Library, and Blue Shade.

Amazon Fire HD 10 Kids Edition
The Kids Edition comes with similar specifications and features as the standard Fire HD 10 tablet. However, it features a kid-proof case with a new adjustable stand (blue, pink or purple color options).
Additionally, the Amazon Fire HD 10 Kids Edition comes bundled with a year of Amazon FreeTime Unlimited.

Amazon Kindle Kids Edition
The 6.0-inch ebook reader comes with a 167ppi e-ink display and adjustable front light. Amazon is also offering one year of FreeTime Unlimited subscription.
The Amazon Kindle Kids Edition comes with features like Word Wise and Vocabulary Builder to help early readers build their reading and comprehension skills.
Additionally, the new ebook-reader offers achievement badges to help motivate readers to complete the next chapter.
