The Amazon Echo Show is priced in India at Rs 22,999. It will be available through Amazon India and select retail shops. As part of the launch offer, Amazon is offering a Philips Hue bulb for free. Additionally, Citibank credit/debit users can avail a cashback of Rs 2,000.

The Amazon Echo Show is a 10-inch smart display. It comes integrated with a smart Home Hub and Alexa assistant. The HD screen is optimized for streaming videos, TV shows, and movies (on Amazon Prime Video). It is supported by Dual, side-firing 2 Neodymium for speakers with Dolby processing.
For HD video calling, the smart display sports a 5-megapixel front camera. You can chat with your friends/ family via the Echo Spot, Echo Show or using Alexa on their smartphones. The company claims that the eight ‘far-field’ microphones can detect your voice in ambient sound conditions.
The Amazon Echo Show features a fiber-textured body and comes in two color options (Black and White). Additionally, a Zigbee smart home hub lets you discover and control your smart home devices (such as the Amazon Echo speaker range and Amazon Fire TV Stick range). Connectivity options include Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.
Apart from videos, the smart display allows you to stream music through Gaana, JioSaavn and Amazon Prime Music. It can also play news briefings and sports update. Other functions include the Alexa support (can be customized based on your needs) and home surveillance.
The Echo Show can browse through inbuilt browsers (Silk and Firefox). While using the hands-free, you can even ask for daily horoscopes, find recipes, view Facebook photos, movie trailers, or book a cab through Ola.
