The Amazon Echo Show 15 is priced at $249.99 (approx Rs 18,600). It will be available for purchase later this year. As of now, there is no confirmation about the Indian price and launch date.
Additionally, the company has launched a new device called the Amazon Glow that is specifically designed for kids. It lets them make video calls and interact with their loved ones using a projected space.
The Amazon Glow is priced at $299.99 (approx Rs 22,300). However, it is initially available at an introductory price of $249.99 (approx Rs 18,600) via an invite-only program in the US.

The Amazon Echo Show 15 is powered by an all-new, quad-core Amazon AZ2 Neural Edge processor that is touted to bring a better machine learning experience.
Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth support. There is also support for Advanced Audio Distribution Profile (A2DP) to allow audio streaming from your smartphone.

For video calling, the Amazon Echo Show 15 comes with a 5-megapixel camera and a built-in microphone. An optional Visual ID feature allows Alexa to recognize users via facial recognition and offer a personalized experience.
This includes custom greetings, personal reminders, calendar events, recently played music or personal notes. It can also be used to display only age-appropriate content for kids.

The Amazon Echo Show 15 lets you access Alexa widgets such as a family calendar or your to-do list at a glance. It also allows you to control compatible smart home devices.
You can add or remove widgets/ other on-screen items to customize the home screen. You can also place your favorite image from Amazon Photos or alternating visuals from the preloaded art, nature, seasonal, or travel galleries.
The new device lets you stream movies and TV shows from a variety of platforms like Amazon Prime Video, Netflix, and more. You can even buy products directly from Amazon.

Security
Amazon has added a built-in shutter to cover the camera. You can also view and delete your voice recordings. The Visual ID settings also allow you to delete your facial profile at any time.
The company’s Sound Detection feature helps notify users when the system detects noises such as broken glass or crying baby.

Design and Display
The Amazon Echo Show 15 sports a 15.6-inch display with full-HD (1,920 x 1,080 pixels) resolution and a hole-punch design. It is paired with two 1.6-inch stereo speakers.
The new smart screen measures 401.32 x 251.46 x 35.56mm and weighs 2.21 kg. It also comes with an optional stand that allows you to place it on a counter or mount it on your wall.
