Alcatel has launched its Alcatel OneTouch Pop 2 Series of smartphones and tablet at CES 2015 in Las vegas. This series includes several devices namely, Alcatel OneTouch Pop 2 (4), Alcatel OneTouch Pop 2 (4.5), Alcatel OneTouch Pop 2 (5) smartphones and Alcatel OneTouch Pop 2 (10) tablet. There is also an Alcatel OneTouch Pop 2 (5) Premium smartphone which is the premium edition of OneTouch Pop 2 (5) smartphone. Alcatel OneTouch Pop 2 (4) Smartphone
As the name suggests, this device sports a 4 inch WVGA display with 480 x 800 pixels resolution . It is powered by 1.2 GHz Quad-Core processor coupled with 1 GB of RAM and runs Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system. It sports a 5 mega pixel rear camera with fixed focus and a VGA front facing camera. For storage purpose, it comes with 4 GB of in-built memory which is expandable up to 32 GB via microSD card. This smartphone packs a 2000 mAh battery which is rated to deliver up to 5 hours of talk time and 200 hours of stand by time on 3G network. This device measures 121.5 x 64.4 x 12.35 mm and weighs 125 grams. It will be available in single-SIM and dual-SIM variants.
Alcatel OneTouch Pop 2 (4.5) Smartphone
This smartphone is powered by 1.2 GHz Quad-Core processor coupled with 1 GB of RAM and runs on Android 4.4 KitKat operating system. It features a 4.5 inch FWVGA TFT display with 480 x 854 pixels resolution. It sports a 5 mega pxiel auto focus rear camera with LED flash and a VGA front facing camera. On storage front, it entails 8 GB of in-built storage which is expandable up to 32 GB via microSD card and it packs a 2000 mAh battery which is claimed to deliver 12 hours of talk time and 400 hours of stand by time on 3G network. The dimensions of this device are 132.5 x 65.4 x 9.95 mm and it weighs 147 grams. It will also be available in single-SIM and dual-SIM versions.
Alcatel OneTouch Pop 2 (5) Smartphone
Powered by 1.2 GHz Quad-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, this smartphone runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system. It will be available in single-SIM, dual-SIM and NFC support models. It features a 5 inch FWVGA TFT display with 480 x 854 pixels resolution. It sports a 5 mega pixel rear camera and a 0.3 mega pixel front-facing camera. It entails 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of inbuilt storage which is expandable up to 32 GB via a microSD card. It packs a 2500mAh battery, measures 141 x 71.5 x 9.7 mm and weighs 174 grams.
There is also a Premium Edition of this device, namely the Pop 2 (5) Premium, which is powered by 1.2 GHz Quad-Core processor coupled with 1 GB of RAM. Other specifications include 5 inch HD display with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution, 8 mega pixel rear camera, 2 mega pixel front facing camera, 8 GB of internal storage (expandable up to 32 GB via microSD card) and 2500 mAh battery which is rated to deliver 18 hours of talk time and 480 hours of stand by time on 3G network.
Alcatel OneTouch Pop 2 (10) Tablet
Alcatel Pop 2 tablet is powered by 1.2 GHz Quad-Core processor coupled with 1 GB of RAM and runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system. It sports 5 mega pixel rear camera, 2 mega pixel front facing camera and entails 8 GB of in-built storage. It packs a 4600 mAh battery and includes Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth 4.0 as connectivity options. This tablet measures 244 x 146.5 x 7.9 mm and will be available in White color option.
