The Acer TravelMate P2 comes with a starting price of $749.99 (approx Rs 55,100) for the AMD Ryzen 5 PRO variant. An AMD Ryzen 7 PRO model comes at $849.99 (approx Rs 62,500).
The new laptop is now available in the US via Acer’s website. As of now, there is no information about the Indian price and launch date.
The Acer TravelMate P215-41-G2 comes in a single Black color option and sport a 15.6-inch display. A 14-inch Acer TravelMate P2 will be available early next year.

The new laptop is powered by an AMD Ryzen 5 PRO 5650U/ AMD Ryzen 7 PRO 5850U processor along with 8GB RAM and 256GB SSD storage.
The AMD Ryzen 5 PRO 5650U chipset features six cores, 12 threads, and a maximum clock speed of 2.30GHz. Whereas the AMD Ryzen 7 PRO 5850U chipset has eight cores, 16 threads, and a 1.90GHz maximum clock speed.
The Acer TravelMate P2 is backed by 3-cell Lithium-Ion batteries that can be charged using the 65W charger. It is touted to last up to 12 hours on a single charge.
For video calling, the laptop sports a 720p video camera (with a manual shutter for added privacy) and two microphones. There is also an IR camera for Windows Hello.

The Acer TravelMate P2 runs Windows 10 OS (upgradable to Windows 11 OS when it becomes available). It comes with a full-size SD card reader.
Connectivity options include Bluetooth v5, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax, three USB Type-A ports, USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. It also comes with HDMI, VGA, and Ethernet ports.
The new laptop sports a 15.6-inch IPS display with full-HD (1,290 x 1,080 pixels) resolution, 16:9 aspect ratio, and a 170-degree field of view. It measures 363.2 x 254 x 19.8 and weighs 1.8 kilograms.
