Acer has announced its three new smartphones in the Liquid series, namely, Acer Liquid Z220, Liquid Z520 & Liquid Jade Z at Mobile World Congress 2015 in Barcelona. Coming to the specifications of Liquid Z220 first, the handset is powered by 1.2 GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor coupled with 1 GB of RAM. Running on the Android 5.0 Lollipop, it is the first phone from the company to be running on this OS. Other specifications include a 4 inch WVGA display, 5 mega pixel rear camera, 2 mega pixel front camera and 8 GB of inbuilt storage (expandable via microSD card).

The Acer Liquid Z520, packs a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor paired with 1 GB of RAM and features a 5 inch display. It sports an 8 mega pixel auto focus rear camera with LED flash, 2 mega pixel front facing camera and runs on Android 4.4 KitKat operating system.

The Liquid Jade Z is powered by 64-bit 1.5 GHz quad-core MediaTek processor coupled with 1 GB of RAM. It features 5 inch HD IPS display with Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Other specifications of the handset include 8 GB inbuilt storage (expandable via microSD card), 13 mega pixel rear camera, 5 mega pixel front camera, 2300 mAh battery and Android 4.4 KitKat operating system with promised upgrade to Android 5.0 Lollipop. Rest of the details are not known yet and are expected to be revealed in the coming days.

Price and Availability
The Acer Liquid Z220 and Liquid Jade Z will be rolled out for sale starting March 2015 at EUR 89 (nearly Rs.6,000 ) and EUR 199 (nearly Rs. 13,700) respectively while the Liquid Jade Z520 is priced at EUR 109 (nearly Rs. 7,000) and will be available starting April.
