Acer has expanded its Iconia series with the launch of Acer Iconia Tab 10 tablet. It is essentially the upgraded version of Iconia Tab 10 which was introduced back in 2014. As for the specifications, the new variant is powered by quad-core MediaTek MT8127 processor clocked at 1.5 GHz. Running on Android 4.4 KitKat operating system, it features a 10.1-inch IPS TFT display with 1920 x 1200 pixels resolution and scratch resistant Corning Gorilla Glass protection. The Iconia Tab 10 tablet houses 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of inbuilt storage which is capable of further expandability using microSD card slot. On camera front, the tablet comes with a 5 mega pixel camera on the rear and a 2 mega pixel front facing camera. It packs a 5910 mAh battery which is claimed to survive up to 8 hours. Connectivity options on the Iconia Tab 10 include Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and it measures 10.1 x 6.7 x 0.4 inches.

Acer has also launched its Chromebook C910 targeting the business and education customers. Specifications of the Chromebook include 15.6-inch full-HD display (1920 x 1080 pixels resolution), 4 GB of RAM, 32 GB of SSD storage, 2.2 kg weight and 393 x 256 x 24.2 mm dimensions. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11AC with MIMO technology, Bluetooth 4.0, USB 3.0 port, USB 2.0 port, HDMI port and SD card reader.
Price and Availability
The Acer Iconia Tab 10 tablet is now available to buy in US through Acer stores and major retail stores for $249. There is no word on pricing and availability details of the tablet for Indian market.
