The Acer Chromebook 514 (CB514-2H/T) is priced at $399.99 (approx Rs 30,000)/ EUR 399 (approx Rs 34,800). It will be available in North America in December and in EMEA in November.
On the other hand, the Acer Chromebook 515 (CB515-1W/T) comes with a starting price of EUR 499 (approx Rs 43,500). It will be available in the EMEA region from October.
Additionally, the Acer Chromebook Enterprise 515 is priced at $649.99 (approx Rs 48,900)/ EUR 799 (approx Rs 69,700).
The Chrome OS laptop will be available in the EMEA region in October and in North America from January 2022.
The new models can be purchased via the Acer Online Store. As of now, there is no information about the Indian price tags or launch dates.

Specifications and Features
The new Chromebooks are designed for work, education, and entertainment usages. They also come in Enterprise editions that feature management tools for IT departments and upgraded security.
While the Acer Chromebook 514 is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Kompanio 828 processor and 14-inch displays, the Chromebook 515 comes with the latest 11th Gen Intel Core CPUs and a larger 15.6-inch display.

The new laptop is powered by a MediaTek Kompanio 828 processor along with up to 8GB RAM and 128GB eMMC storage. It comes with up to 15 hours of battery life. You can get a 50 percent charge in only 30 minutes.
The Acer Chromebook 514 (CB514-2H/T) features a 14-inch matte IPS display with full-HD (1,920 x 1,080 pixels) resolution with an optional touch display.
The new laptop has 7.1mm thin bezels and weighs around 1.3kg. it comes with a backlit keyboard and a Corning Gorilla Glass touchpad.
Additional features include Wi-Fi 6, a USB Type-A port, two USB Type-C ports, two inbuilt microphones, and two upward-facing speakers with DTS Audio support.

The new laptop is powered by up to 11th Gen Intel Core i7 processors along with integrated Intel Iris Xe Graphics, up to 16GB RAM, and 512GB PCIe NVMe storage.
Acer claims that the Acer Chromebook 515 (CB515-1W/T) comes with up to a 40 percent performance improvement over previous generations.
Connectivity options include Intel Wi-Fi 6 (Gig+), an HDMI port, two USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C ports 9with up to 10Gbps data transfer rate), and a microSD card reader.

The new laptop comes with MIL-STD 810H certification with an aluminum lid. There is also a webcam shutter to ensure privacy.
The Acer Chromebook 515 features a 15.6-inch IPS display with full-HD resolution and an optional multi-touch capability. It comes with a Gorilla Glass touchpad and a backlit keyboard.
Additional features on the device include It features an inbuilt smart amplifier, a numeric keypad, and two inbuilt microphones. It also supports DTS Audio for high-quality sound output.
