Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi launched its Redmi S2 on 10th May 2018. The Xiaomi Redmi S2 will be sporting a 16-megapixel selfie camera with 2-micron pixels. It will be packed with AI-based beautification features, and according to the company it is the ‘best Redmi selfie phone’.
Beijing-based electronics company Xiaomi looks ready to launch their latest budget smartphone, the Redmi S2. The Xiaomi Redmi S2 launch has been teased by the company to be on 10th May 2018. In the teaser, a man can be seen going down into a building supposedly owned by Suning Tesco. The person descends with a parachute with ‘S’ word written in large on the parachute.
Xiaomi fans have been going into a frenzy for quite some time. The launch of a new device and numerous leaks of upcoming devices has kept them happy enough. Now fresh speculations have surfaced after a Redmi S2 leak was spotted online. The leak surfaced on the 3C (Compulsory Certification of China) website.
It has surfaced online that a smartphone manufactured by Xiaomi has received a certification from Chinese certification agency TENAA. The new Xiaomi device has a 6-inch display, and 3 storage, RAM variants. It is believed to be the Redmi S2.
It has already been reported widely that Xiaomi is planning to launch Redmi S2, at least in India and China. Now the full specifications of the smartphone have been revealed by @FunkyHuawei via XDA Developers. According to the obtained information, the device will sport a rear dual-camera setup and Face Unlock feature.
