The new Red Magic 9 Pro series is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor along with a dedicated Red Core R2 gaming chip, and up to 24TB LPDDR5x RAM.
While the Red Magic 9 Pro comes with up to 512GB UFS 4.0 storage, the Red Magic 9 Pro+ gets up to 1TB UFS 4.0 storage. Both devices feature a 10,182 square millimetre vapour chamber and a new alloy fan with a waterfall air duct.
In terms of optics, the Red Magic 9 Pro series sports a 50MP Samsung GN5 sensor (OIS) and a 50MP ultra-wide angle Samsung JN1 sensor. Both handsets feature a 16MP under-display camera.
The Red Magic 9 Pro is backed by a 6,500mAh battery that supports 80W fast charging. On the other hand, the Red Magic 9 Pro+ comes with a 5,500mAh battery that supports 165W fast charging.

The new Red Magic 9 Pro series runs Android 14 OS with Red Magic OS 9.0 on top. Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 7, GPS, NFC, USB 3.2 Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The dual-SIM (Nano) smartphones come with an under-display fingerprint scanner and the firm’s proprietary CUBE engine.
Both Red Magic 9 Pro and Red Magic 9 Pro+ sport a 6.8-inch BOE Q9+ display with a resolution of full-HD+ (1,116 x 2,480 pixels) resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 1,600 nits.

The Red Magic 9 Pro comes with a starting price of CNY 4,399 (approx Rs 51,700) for the 8GB RAM/ 256GB storage variant. The 12GB RAM/ 256GB storage and 12GB RAM/ 512GB storage models cost CNY 4,799 and CNY 5,199, respectively.
On the other hand, the Red Magic 9 Pro+ price starts at CNY 5,499 (approx Rs 64,600) for the 16GB RAM/ 256GB storage variant. The 16GB RAM/ 512GB storage and 24GB RAM/ 1TB storage models cost CNY 5,799 and CNY 6,999, respectively.
As of now, there is no information about the Indian price tag and launch date.
