The Itel P40+ is powered by an octa-core Unisoc T606 processor along with 4GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. The smartphone uses Memory Fusion technology to expand the onboard memory by utilising unused storage. It offers up to 8GB virtual RAM for improved performance.
For photos and videos, the new handset sports an AI-backed dual rear camera setup with a 13-megapixel primary sensor and a LED flash. It features an 8-megapixel front camera for selfies.
The Itel P40+ is backed by a 7,000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging. It is touted to offer up to 18 days of standby time, up to 72 hours of music playback, and up to 41 hours of talk time on a single charge.

The Itel P40+ runs Android 12 OS. Connectivity options include 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, a 3.5mm audio jack and a USB Type-C port.
The dual-SIM (Nano) smartphone sports a 6.8-inch IPS display with HD+ (720 x 1,640 pixels) resolution, a 90Hz refresh rate, and a punch-hole cutout.
Additionally, the Itel P40+ comes with face unlock support and a fingerprint sensor for biometric authentication.
