The entry-level 4G smartphone is listed on the company website in three color options – Dreamy Blue, Force Black, and Luxurious Gold.

The Itel P40 is powered by an octa-core Unisoc SC9863A processor and up to 4GB RAM. It also supports 3GB virtual RAM expansion. The 64GB storage can be further expanded (up to 512GB).
The budget handset is backed by a 6,000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging. It is said to deliver up to 32 hours of talk time and up to 15 days of standby time.

On the back, the Itel P40 sports a dual-camera setup with a 13-megapixel primary sensor (f/1.85 aperture) and an LED flash. For selfies, it features a 5-megapixel front camera that comes with an AI Beauty mode.
