The Xiaomi Mi 10i has been customized for Indian users. It is being touted as the first smartphone in India to come with a Samsung HM2 sensor.
The new smartphone will join Mi 10, Mi 10 Pro, Mi 10 Lite, and Mi 10 Lite Zoom Edition in the range. The ‘I’ in Mi 10i stands for India.

The new smartphone is powered by an 8nm-based Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G processor along with Adreno 619 GPU, up to 8GB RAM, and up to 128GB internal storage.
The Xiaomi Mi 10i is backed by a 4,820mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. It can be fully charged in just 58 minutes. You can achieve up to a 68 percent charge in just 30 minutes.
Cameras
On the back, the new handset sports a quad-camera setup with a 108-megapixel Samsung HM2 sensor (1/1.52-inch sensor size, 9-in-1 pixel binning, 2.1um superpixel, f/1.75 aperture).
Camera features include 4k video recording, six long exposure modes, HDR, Google Lens, night mode 2.0, Pro mode, panorama, and raw mode.
The camera setup also includes an 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor (120-degree field of view, f/2.2), a 2-megapixel macro lens, and a 2-megapixel depth lens.
For selfies and video calling, the Xiaomi Mi 10i sports a 16MP front camera (f/2.45, 1.0-micron pixel size). Camera features include Night Mode 1.0, AI Beautify, AI Portrait Mode, and full-HD video recording.

The Xiaomi Mi 10i runs Android 11 OS with MIUI 12 on top. Connectivity options include 5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
The new smartphone comes in Pacific Sunrise, Midnight Black, and Atlantic Blue color options. It measures 165.38 x 76.8 x 9mm and weighs 214.5 grams.
The Xiaomi Mi 10i also comes with an IP53 splash proof rating, dual stereo speakers, IR Blaster, dual (L1 and L5) band satellite navigation, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
Display
The new smartphone features a 6.67-inch display with full-HD+ (1,080 x 2,400 pixels) resolution, up to 120Hz adaptive sync refresh rate, NTSC 84 percent color gamut, 450 nits peak brightness, and 1500:01 contrast ratio.
The HDR and HDR10+ compliant display offers Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection at the front and back. There is also a waterdrop-shaped notch for the selfie camera.
Additionally, the company has added smart eye protection features like Reading Mode 3.0, Sunlight Display 3.0, and TUV Rheinland certification.

The Xiaomi Mi 10i is priced at Rs 20,999 for the 6GB RAM/ 64GB storage variant. While the 6GB RAM/ 128GB storage model costs Rs 21,999, the 8GB RAM/ 128GB storage variant comes at Rs 23,999.
Sales will start in India on January 7 via Amazon India, Mi.com, Mi Studio stores, and Mi Home stores. It will soon be available across 10,000+ retail partners across the country.
