The Samsung Galaxy M31 Prime has been jointly developed with Amazon.in. It comes with a complimentary three-month Prime membership.
The special edition smartphone is priced at Rs 16,499 for the single 6GB RAM/ 128GB storage variant. The sale will start on October 17 via Samsung.com and select retail stores.
However, Amazon Prime subscribers can purchase the new handset on October 16. They can also get Rs 1,000 Amazon Pay cashback on all prepaid payments.
During Amazon Great Indian Festival, interested customers will get an additional 10 percent instant cashback on HDFC credit and debit cards.
Originally, the Samsung Galaxy M31 was launched at Rs 15,999 and Rs 16,999 for the 6GB RAM/ 64GB storage and 6GB RAM/ 128GB storage models, respectively.

The new smartphone is powered by an octa-core Exynos 9611 processor and 6GB RAM. The 128GB internal storage can be further expanded via a micro SD card (up to 512GB).
In terms of optics, the Samsung Galaxy M31 Prime sports a quad-camera setup on the back. It uses a 64MP primary sensor, an 8MP secondary sensor, a 5MP tertiary sensor, and a 5MP quaternary sensor.
For selfies and video calling, the handset features a 32MP front camera (housed inside a small notch). It is backed by a large 6,000mAh battery with 15W fast charging support.

The Samsung Galaxy M31 Prime runs Android 10 OS with One UI 2.1 on top. It comes pre-installed with some Amazon ecosystem apps.

The handset comes with an “Always On” Amazon shopping app that can be accessed by swiping right on the home screen. It also shows updates on new and trending items on Amazon on the lock screen.
The Samsung Galaxy M31 Prime features a 6.4-inch Infinity-U display with a Full-HD+ resolution. It comes in Ocean Blue, Space Black, and Iceberg Blue color options.
