The Samsung Galaxy M31 is priced in India at Rs 15,999 for the 64GB storage variant. The 128GB storage model comes with a price tag of Rs 16,999.

As an introductory offer, the company is offering a discount of Rs 1,000. Interested customers can get the new handset for a starting price of Rs 14,999.

Sales will in the country from March 5 via Amazon, Samsung India online store, and select retail stores.

The Samsung Galaxy M31 is powered by an octa-core Exynos 9611 processor and 6GB RAM. The 64GB/ 128GB UFS 2.1 storage can be further expanded via a microSD card (up to 512GB).

The highlight of the device is its huge 6,000mAh battery with 15W fast charging support. It offers 26 hours of video playback or 119 hours of music playback on a single charge.

Cameras

On the back, the Samsung Galaxy M31 sports quad-camera setup with a 64MP Samsung ISOCELL Bright GW1 sensor (f/1.8 aperture) and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens (f/2.2, 123 degrees field of view).

The camera module also includes a 5MP macro lens (f/2.4) and a 5MP depth sensor (f/2.2). Camera features include Live Focus (for enhanced bokeh effect), a dedicated night mode, super steady mode, and super slo-mo (using interpolation).

For selfies and video calling, the new smartphone features a 32MP front camera with support for 4K and slo-mo video recording.

The Samsung Galaxy M31 has a thickness of 8.9mm and weighs only 191 grams. It comes in Ocean Blue and Space Black color options.
