Originally, the Huawei Nova 7i was announced in Malaysia with a price tag of MYR 1,099 (approx Rs 18,900). It is essentially a rebranded version of the Nova 6 SE.

The new smartphone is powered by a HiSilicon Kirin 810 processor along with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage (expandable up to 256GB).
In terms of optics, the Huawei Nova 7i features a quad rear camera setup. It combines a 48MP primary sensor (wide-angle-lens, f/1.8 aperture), 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera (120-degree FoV), a 2MP macro camera, and a 2MP depth sensor.
For selfies and video calling, the new handset features a 16MP front camera (f/2.0). The 4,200mAh battery supports 40W SuperCharge fast charging technology.

The new handset features a 6.4-inch IPS display with Full-HD+ (1,080 x 2,310 pixels) resolution, a 19:9 aspect ratio, and a pixel density of 398ppi.
The Huawei Nova 7i runs the Android 10 OS with EMUI 10.0.1 on top. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/a/ac, Bluetooth 5.0, USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The new smartphone sports a hole-punch design. It comes in Sakura Pink, Midnight Black, and Crush Green color options. A fingerprint sensor is placed on the side.
