The new foldable phone features Thom Browne’s signature brand colors on a pebble grey exterior. It is encased in glass, along with a matte look.
Samsung has also added some software-side customizations. When turning it on or off, users will see the blinds that reflect the mid-century office aesthetic of the Thom Browne.
Additionally, app icons labeled in classic text and various sound effects. There is also a custom Thom Browne wallpaper.
“We designed Galaxy Z Flip Thom Browne Edition just like I do my collections—with proportion, individuality and aesthetic in mind—to create the perfect blend of art and technology,” said Thom Browne.
Samsung has also unveiled custom-designed Galaxy Buds+ and Galaxy Watch Active 2 for the special-edition.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip Thom Browne Edition is bundled with the Galaxy Buds+ in matching grey and a specially designed leather case.
On the other hand, the Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2 comes with a grey leather strap and a Thom Browne custom watch face.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip is powered by a 2,9GHz octa-core processor along with 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. The 3,300mAh battery comes with fast charging support.
On the back, the foldable phone sports a dual-camera setup with a 12MP wide-angle lens (f/1.8 aperture, 1.4-micron pixels, 78-degree FoV) with a 12MP ultra-wide angle lens (f/2.2, 1.12-micron pixels, 123-degree FoV, OIS).
For selfies and video calling, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip features a 10MP front camera with f/2.4 aperture, 1.22-micron pixels, and an 80-degree field of view(FoV).

The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip runs the Android 10 operating system with a Flex mode UI (built in collaboration with Google). It is enabled by the ‘Hideaway Hinge’.
Samsung claims that the new hinge features ‘dual CAM mechanism’ and ‘sweeper’ tech ( made of nylon fibers to repel dirt and dust).
The Flex mode splits the display into ‘two 4-inch screens’. Samsung states that the users will be able to watch YouTube videos in the top half and read comments/ finding other videos in the bottom half.
A Multi-Active Window allows users to drag and drop apps onto different halves of the main display. Users will be able to use two apps at once.
A fingerprint sensor is placed on the side. Other sensors on the device include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, barometer, gyroscope, magnetometer, and proximity sensor.
Additional features on the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip include a mono speaker, HDR10+ video recording, Samsung Pay, Samsung Health, and Samsung Knox.

Price and Availability
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip Thom Browne Edition will be available in a limited quantity in select markets. Pre-orders will start from February 14 via the Samsung and Thom Browne websites.
Sales will start next month. As of now, there is no information about its price tag and launch date.
