The new smartphone is powered by a quad-core MediaTek Helio P35 (MTK MT6765) processor and 3GB RAM. The 32GB and 64GB, and storage can further be expanded via a microSD card (up to 512GB).
In terms of optics, the Huawei Y6s sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with f/1.8 aperture and LED flash.
For selfie and video calling, the smartphone sports an 8MP fixed focus camera with f/2.0 aperture. It is backed by a 3,020mAh battery.

The Huawei Y6s runs the Android 9 Pie operating system with EMUI 9.0 on top. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, GPS, Glonass, Bluetooth 4.2, Micro USB, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, and 3.5mm headphone jack.
The smartphone sports a 6.09-inch TFT IPS display with HD+ (720×1560 pixels) resolution, a dewdrop notch, and a pixel density of 283ppi.
The Huawei Y6s measures 156.28 x 73.5 x 8mm and weighs 150 grams. It will be available in two color options – Orchid Blue and Starry Black.
Sensors on the device include a fingerprint sensor, proximity sensor, gravity sensor, and an ambient light sensor.
