The Nikon D780 is priced at $2,300 (approx Rs 1,65,400) for body-only. A kit with the AF-S NIKKOR 24-120mm f/4G ED VR lens will cost you $2,800 (approx Rs 2,01,000).
“The Nikon D780 is not only a huge leap in technology over the D750, but it also integrates Nikon’s latest cutting-edge technologies to offer the best video feature-set and imaging capabilities in a full-frame DSLR,” said Jay Vannatter, Executive Vice President of Nikon.
The new DSLR camera will be available in the US in late January. As of now, there is no information about the Indian price or launch date.

The Nikon D780 comes with many improvements over its predecessor, the D750 DSLR. It comes with on-sensor phase detection autofocus (PDAF), face and eye detection, and 4K video capture with full-pixel readout.
The FX-format full-frame DSLR comes with a 24.5-megapixel BSI CMOS sensor. It is powered by Nikon’s Expeed 6 image processor.
The Nikon D780 has an improved ISO range of up to 51,200 natively (expandable to 2,04,800). It has a shutter speed range of 900s to 1/8000 of a second.
The new camera offers 7fps burst shooting (up to 12fps using the electronic shutter). It can shoot 4K videos at 30fps without pixel binning. You can get also get a 10-bit output with N-Log or Hybrid Log-Gamma support for HDR workflows.

With the optical viewfinder, you can use the 51-point autofocus (AF) system with 15 cross-type AF points. Whereas in live view, the camera uses 273 PDAF points along with eye-detection autofocus.
Additional features include a 3.2-inch tilting LCD touchscreen display, a USB Type-C port with in-camera battery charging, two SD card slots (UHD-II speed supported), built-in Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth.

Conclusion
The company also launched the successor of its Coolpix P900 superzoom camera. It comes with 83x optical zoom, RAW support, 4K video capability, and a 2.3 million dot resolution electronic viewfinder.
The Nikon Coolpix P950 is priced at $800 (approx Rs 57,500). It will be available in February this year.
Nikon also announced new lenses for its Z-mount and F-cameras. Both lenses will also be available from February.
The Nikkor Z 70-200mm f/2.8 VR S is a zoom lens for its Z-series cameras. It will cost you $2,600 (approx Rs 1,86,900).
The Nikon AF-S Nikkor 120-300mm f/2.8E FL ED SR VR is a fast zoom lens (with constant wide aperture throughout the focal range) for F-mount cameras. It is priced at $9,500 (approx Rs 6,83,000).
