Meizu has launched multiple new smartphones in the Indian market. While the Meizu M6T is a rebranded variant of the Meizu 6T, the Meizu M16th is a rebranded version of the Meizu 16. The company also launched an entry-level smartphone (Meizu C9), Meizu POP truly wireless earphones (at Rs 6,999), and the EP52 Lite Bluetooth earphones (at Rs 1,999). Price and Availability
The Meizu M6T is priced in India is Rs 7,999 for the 3GB RAM/ 32GB internal storage variant. Whereas the Meizu M16th comes with a price tag of Rs 39,999 for the only 8GB RAM/ 128GB storage variant. Both smartphones will be exclusively available via Amazon India.
The Meizu 16th was initially launched in China as the Meizu 16 at CNY 2,698 (approx Rs 27,100) for the base 6GB RAM/ 64GB storage variant. On the other hand, the Meizu M6T was launched as Meizu 6T at a starting price of CNY 799 (approx Rs 8,000).

The Meizu 16 features a 6.0-inch full-HD+ (1080 x 2160 pixels) Super AMOLED display with an 18:9 aspect ratio, 430cd/m2 brightness, and a 402ppi pixel density. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor along with Adreno 630 GPU. The 3010mAh battery supports fast charging via the proprietary mCharge.
In terms of optics, the new smartphone sports a dual camera setup on the back. It combines a 12-megapixel primary 1/2.3-inch Sony IMX380 sensor (wide-angle lens, f/1.8 aperture, PDAF) and a secondary 20-megapixel Sony IMX350 sensor (telephoto lens, f/2.6 aperture). Camera features include a four-axis optical image stabilization (OIS), a 6-LED ring flash, preloaded portrait background blur mode, and 3x lossless zoom mode.
The 20-megapixel front sensor comes with a f/2.0 aperture and supports an artificial intelligence (AI) powered face unlock. Further, there is an ArcSoft beauty algorithm adaptive skin technology as well as Face AE facial brightness enhancement. It is being touted as the “smallest 20-megapixel camera in the world”.
The dual-SIM smartphone runs Flyme OS based on Android 8.0 Oreo OS. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, and USB Type-C. The new handset measures 160.4 x 78.2 x 7.3mm and weighs 182 grams. It features an in-display fingerprint sensor.
