The Samsung Galaxy On8 (2018) is priced in India at Rs 16,990 (as an introductory price). Its official price is Rs 17,990 (listed on Samsung Shop).

As part of launch offers, users will get cashback worth Rs 2,750 and double data offer from Jio. Additionally, Flipkart customers will get a Rs 400 discount on purchases made via an Axis Bank Buzz credit card.

The Samsung Galaxy On8 (2018) sports a 6.0-inch Super AMOLED Infinity Display with HD+ (720 x 1480 pixels) resolution and an 18.5:9 aspect ratio. it is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 processor and 4GB RAM.

In terms of optics, the new handset sports a dual camera on the back. It combines a 16-megapixel primary sensor (with a f/1.7 aperture) and a 5-megapixel secondary sensor (with a f/1.9 aperture). Camera features include Background Blur Shape, Portrait Dolly, Portrait Backdrop, and an LED flash.

While the Background Blur Shape adds a soft light effect in different contextual shapes, the Portrait Dolly feature enables moving GIF images with zoom movements in the background. The Portrait Backdrop feature allows you to add preset background effects.

The 16-megapixel front camera comes with a f/1.9 aperture. The 64GB internal storage can be further expanded via a microSD card (up to 256GB). The new handset is backed by a 3,500mAh battery.
