Smartphone maker Xiaomi seems to be en route to revealing a new handset soon, which will be a part of the Redmi 6 family. A Xiaomi Redmi 6A leak has appeared on TENAA. In the certification, the smartphone has three model numbers (M1804C3CT, M1804C3DT, and M1804C3DC).

The difference between the models is the presence of a dual-rear camera setup on two models, while one has single-camera setup.
The design of the three models seems to be identical. They are built with a thin-bezel display on the front and a metal back.
According to the TENAA listing, M1804C3DT and M1804C3DC sport a dual-rear camera module. The dual-rear camera module is expected to have a 12-megapixel primary sensor and an 8-megapixel secondary sensor. The M1804C3CT model is equipped with a single rear camera lens which is speculated to be of 8-megapixel resolution.
All of the models seem to same from the front. They have a rounded-edge display with thin bezels. The variants also look like the Redmi 5 which was launched on December 2017. According to the Xiaomi Redmi 6A leak, the models also have a fingerprint sensor on the back with metal finish.
The TENAA listing doesn’t reveal much information regarding the specifications of the handsets. The handset is expected to run Android 8.1 with MIUI on top. It will probably be built with a 5.45-inch HD+ (720×1440 pixels) display. The display is also expected to have an 18:9 aspect ratio.
The smartphone will also most probably have a 5-megapixel front camera and a 3000mAh battery. It could be powered by a Snapdragon 625 SoC. The handset could also be paired with 2GB, 3GB, and 4GB RAM options.
The smartphone is expected to come in multiple color options like Black, Rose Gold, Champagne Gold, White, Blue, Red, Pink, Gray, and Silver.

Flagship smartphone Mi 8 will be released on 31st may 2018 in China. According to a Xiaomi Mi 8 leak in Weibo, the handset will have 3D AR emojis just like Animoji on the iPhone X. The company has already confirmed that the handset will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 845 SoC. A Xiaomi Mi 8 leak had surfaced online earlier by SlashLeaks.
