Huawei’s next flagship smartphone, Honor 10 is expected to be launched in China on 19th April 2018. Even though the device is about to be released, the latest render of the smartphone’s back panel has been leaked online.

The render was leaked on Weibo, and the image was suggested to be of the Honor 10 – as it had a standard Honor branding on the bottom.
The image also showed that the smartphone will antenna lines on the top and bottom. Previous invites and banners of the device established certain artificial intelligence features in the front camera. One banner showed a fingerprint sensor rear-mounted on the phone (which is not there in the leaked image).
It is being suggested, that the smartphone will be built with a 5.8-inch full HD+ (1080×2160 pixels) display and powered by an in-house Kirin 970 SoC. The device will have 6 GB RAM and up to 265 GB inbuilt storage. It is also being reported that the device will sport a dual 12-megapixel + 20-megapixel real camera setup – similar to Huawei P20. Kirin is manufactured by Huawei’s semiconductor subsidiary, HiSilicon. The chip is also the firm’s take on a SoC mobile focused on AI and similar rising technologies.

Huawei’s Mate 20’s benchmark scores already got leaked in April 2018. The smartphone hasn’t been launched yet. It appeared in the database of AnTuTU (a smartphone benchmarking tool). The leak was revealed by CNMO. It stated that the device scores amazingly high benchmark points even more than Samsung Galaxy S9 and iPhone X. Huawei Mate 20 scored 356918 points. The score is more than the testing performance of the 2017 Mate 10 series. The alleged leaked scores came as a shock to the world, as it surpassed the world’s top smartphones currently – iPhone X and Samsung Galaxy S9, who have scored a little more than 230000 points.
The Mate 20 name first appeared towards the end of 2017, when a Huawei middle-eastern product partner leaked the Chinese company’s entire product roadmap of 2018. Just like the Mate 10 series, the Mate 20 series is expected to emphasize on artificial intelligence and versatile photography. Huawei has also opted for a similar marketing strategy – just like the recently released P20 and P20 Pro.
Honor has already sent out press invites for an April 19th, 2018 event. It has been confirmed that the smartphone will be made official there.
