The Vivo Y79 sports a 5.99-inch IPS Incell ‘FullView’ display with HD+ (720 x 1440 pixels) resolution and an 18:9 aspect ratio. It is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and 2.5D curved glass. The new smartphone is powered by a 2.0GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 (MSM8953) processor and 4GB RAM. The 64GB internal storage can be expanded via a microSD card (up to 256GB).
In terms of optics, the Vivo Y79 comes with a 16-megapixel rear camera with a f/2.0 aperture and dual-LED flash. The 24-megapixel front camera comes with a f/2.0 aperture, 1/2.78-inch sensor, and a ‘Moonlight Glow’ soft selfie light. The new handset is backed by a 3225mAh battery.
