Vivo has officially launched its Vivo X20 and X20 Plus in China. The new smartphones come with features like dual cameras and fingerprint sensor. Both handsets feature a high screen-to-body ratio of 85.3% and 86.11%. The two smartphones sport almost similar specs and features. However, they differ in terms of display and battery size. The Vivo X20 is priced at 2998 yuan (approx Rs 29,500) for the 64GB internal storage variant. The 128GB variant will be available at 3398 yuan (approx Rs 33,500). The Vivo X20 Plus only comes in a 64GB storage variant. It is priced at 3498 yuan (approx Rs 34,500).
Both devices will be available from September 30. As of now, there is no news about an Indian launch date or price.

Vivo X20
The Vivo X20 sports a 6.01-inch Super AMOLED display with FHD+ (2160 x 1080pixel) resolution, 18:9 aspect ratio, and 2.5D curved glass. It is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor along with Adreno 512 GPU and 4GB RAM. The 64GB/128GB internal storage can be expanded via a microSD card (up to 256GB).
On the camera front, the Vivo X20 uses a dual camera setup (12MP + 5MP) with optical image stabilization (OIS), f/1.8 aperture, and a LED flash. The 12-megapixel front camera comes with a f/2.0 aperture and soft LED flash. It is backed by a 3245mAh battery with fast charging support.
Vivo X20 Plus
The Vivo X20 Plus sports a larger 6.43-inch Super AMOLED display with FHD+ (2160 x 1080 pixel) resolution and an 18:9 aspect ratio. It is backed by a 3905mAh battery with fast charging support. Other specifications remain the same.

Both the Vivo X20 and X20 Plus handsets come in Gold, Rose Gold, and Matte Black color options. While the X20 measures 155.85 x 75.15 x 7.2mm and weighs 159 grams, the X20 Plus measures 165.32 x 80.09 x 7.45mm and weighs 181.5 grams.
Both new handsets run Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system with Funtouch OS 3.2 on top. A new Face Wake feature allows you to unlock the new smartphones in just 0.1 seconds (similar to the Face ID on Apple iPhone X). Vivo claims that the front camera on the new devices can detect up to 128 facial features before unlocking the phone. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS and dual SIM support.
