The Lenovo K8 Note will be exclusively available on Amazon India from 18th August. It is priced at Rs 12,999 for the 3GB RAM/ 32GB internal storage variant. The 4GB/ 64GB storage variant will cost you Rs Rs 13,999.
As part of launch offer, customers will get 80 percent discount on Kindle e-books and 64GB flat free 4G data from Idea. You can also get unlimited calls for 56 days at just Rs 343. Additionally, Lenovo is offering a Moto Sports Headphones at a discount price of Rs 699 (down from Rs 1599).

The Lenovo K8 Note is powered by a 64-bit deca-core MediaTek MT6797 processor (4 x 1.4GHz Cortex-A53 cores + 4 x 1.85GHz Cortex-A53 cores + 2 x 2.3GHz Cortex-A72 cores). It sports a 5.5-inch display with full HD resolution (1920 x 1080 pixels).
On the camera front, the K8 Note sports a 13-megapixel front camera with f/2.0 aperture, a five element lens and a LED flash. The dual camera setup on the back includes a 13-megapixel primary sensor and a 5-megapixel depth sensor. Carrying forward the Lenovo Note series tradition, the K8 Note is backed by a huge 4,000mAh non-removable battery.

The Lenovo K8 Note comes in Fine Gold and Venom Black colour options. It measures 154.5 x 75.9 x 8.5mm and weighs 180 grams. The fingerprint sensor is placed on the back panel, below the dual camera setup. Other sensors on the smartphone include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, magnetometer, and proximity sensor.
There’s also a dedicated Music Key on the smartphone. The K8 Note comes with Dolby Atmos support for audio performance. It is the first Lenovo smartphone to run Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system out-of-the-box. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v4.1, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB, USB OTG and 3.5mm audio jack.

Conclusion
The new ‘Note’ series smartphone is the successor of the Lenovo K6 Note which was launched in December last year. For reasons unknown, the brand has skipped the ‘K7’ moniker. Lenovo is having a slow year in the smartphone market. In the second quarter of 2017, the company held the fifth position in terms of smartphones sales (with 1.9 million units sold). Will it bounce back in the Indian smartphone market with the new Lenovo K8 Note? We will have to wait and see.
