While the introductory launch price for the older variant was 64,900 (the phone’s MRP being Rs 69,000), the new Samsung Galaxy S8+ has been priced at Rs 74,990. You can pre-book the new phone on Samsung Shop and Flipkart starting from 2nd June. All the customers will also be eligible for a free Wireless Charger, as part of an introductory offer. The new smartphone will be available across India from 9th June.

The new Samsung Galaxy S8+ comes with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. The older variant came with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. In terms of specs, the Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus is almost identical to the Galaxy S8. The only differences between the two phones are their screen and battery sizes. While the screen size difference will not matter much, the battery difference will. Since the Galaxy S8 Plus has a bigger cell, expect it to offer more battery backup than Galaxy S8.
