IFA 2015: Lenovo Phab Plus Phablet With 6.8-inch Display, 3500mAh Battery Launched

Lenovo has introduced its latest phablet- Lenovo Phab Plus at IFA 2015. Highlight of this phablet is its large 6.8-inch display.

Under the hood, it is powered by a 1.5GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 (MSM8939) processor coupled with Adreno 405 GPU and 2GB of RAM. Running Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system with Vibe UI, it features a 6.8-inch full HD display with 1920×1080 pixels resolution. There is 32GB of inbuilt memory which is expandable up to 64GB using microSD card. It sports a 13 mega pixel rear camera with dual tone LED flash, f/2.2 aperture and 5P lenses. The device also features a 5 mega pixel front facing camera.

Backed up by a 3500mAh battery, it is rated to deliver up to 24 hours of talk time and up to 350 hours of standby time. The phablet measures 186.6 x 96.6 x 7.6mm in dimensions and weighs 220 grams. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS. The smartphone also features Dolby Atmos powered rear speaker.

Lenovo has also unveiled a larger variant of the Phab Plus with 6.98-inch display, dubbed the Lenovo Phab. Features of the device include quad-core Snapdragon processor, 1GB of RAM, 16GB internal memory, 13 mega pixel rear camera with flash, 5 mega pixel front facing camera and 4250mAh battery. Both phablets come with one-hand usage mode for convenient use.

Price & Availability

Lenovo Phab Plus carries price tag of $299 (Rs 19,800 approximately) while the Lenovo Phab is priced at $179  (Rs. 11,800 approximately). Both phablets will go on sale later in September 2015 in select countries- Southeast Asia, China, India, the Middle East, Latin America and Eastern Europe.
